How to communicate from the body? The number is a laboratory where theories invented about issues that move us are put as experiences in the body of the artist. Transiting between the circus and the dance, Julia Henning brings to the stage the curiosity and the will to understand everything at the same time, using the things that are around her. The number evokes the relationships between all these things to evidence the fragility and the risk of life. Teoria is a number of circus dance with Julia Henning, a bench and bottles. With the provocations of Maíra Moraes, the number was created from the research on the relations between body and objects proposed in the last projects of the collective INSTRUMENTO DE VER and finalized in the residence with Marcelo Lujan of Circus Cabaré Vaudeville in 2017. With texts created by Julia, the number is a interrogation on how different elements can dialogue among themselves: the need for communication, the inexplicable, the incommunicability.
