Breaking Battle

 

The Breaking Battle 3vs3 is part of the program of the fifth edition of the festival that was born from the desire to consolidate a project that presents the multiple aspects of dance, with the purpose of popularizing its practice and appreciation among the public of the Federal District.

 

Breaking through its practices is established as a form of political-cultural intervention carried out in communities in the suburban areas. Therefore, the International Dance Movement MID facilitates the meeting of these young artists, contributing to the formation of not only artistic groups, but also political groups. The contradictions, conflicts and diversity of Hip Hop styles indicate that their terrain even in contemporary times is still fragile. The trajectory of young people on this path shows them that winning is not easy, but through their dance, they seek a better understanding of social conflicts and fractures.
